Singer Sithara’s band Project Malabaricus, which was found a few years ago, is noted for its unique performances. The 10-member band, which sings original tracks composed by Sithara and singer Mithun, aren’t restricted by any genre, but performs a lot of folk and classical based pieces. Most recently, the singer announced that it is ready with the next project.
Sithara wrote on her page, “Project Malabaricus, my band was founded with the intention of exploring extensive sound scapes and bringing them to you, our style. Glocally Malabar, we are rooted with the sounds of our origins, and our songs and music always will hold the identity of being different. During this pandemic, If there is one movement that hasn't left our hands, it’s art. Art of all forms and scapes. Confident that art heals, we Project Malabaricus would like to announce our live project.
We shall call it 'IVIDAM - Now and Alive'. These are live sessions from Edam, our space to stay connected. All of us have been without a program, since months and to make music that you love listening to, we ask for your support. Here is our crowd funding link. Do contribute, everyone together, please help us make this dream a reality. We promise the best we have done till date , because these sessions are a part of our souls itself. Each one of you will definitely be a part of this creation we make together.
